What counts as an event?
An event is a single meaningful AI agent action captured by the SDK or an integration. A model call is one event. A tool call is one event. A sub-agent delegation is one event. A human override is one event. A typical customer-support agent resolution produces 5 to 30 events depending on tool use and back-and-forth. A typical fraud-decision agent produces 1 to 5 events per decision.
Why is Compliance Insurer separate from Compliance Pro?
Compliance Insurer is the insurance-specific tier. It bundles Colorado Reg 10-1-1, the NAIC Model Bulletin attestation format, the NAIC AI Systems Evaluation Tool report format, NY DFS Circular Letter 7, California SB 1120, and Texas SB 1188 alongside the general framework packs. Mid-market carriers and MGAs face a different regulatory surface than general AI deployers, and the artifacts they produce for examiners are different.
What about the Charter Customer Program at $12,000 a year?
The Charter program is for the first eight US companies deploying high-risk AI in insurance workflows, InsurTechs, MGAs, or brokers. $12,000 a year for year one, then reverts to the $18,000 Compliance Starter list once filled, 20 percent locked for life. The founder installs the SDK on a screenshare with your engineer, hand-builds your first Reg 10-1-1 narrative report, and gives you direct Slack access. Full refund if the SDK does not ship on time on 10 August 2026.
What happens when an account hits the event ceiling?
Free tier caps at 25,000 events a month with a 14-day retention window. Compliance tiers include carrier-appropriate volumes; an overage rate applies and we notify at 80 percent and 100 percent of the tier ceiling. Captured events remain queryable. You can export evidence packs for your existing events. New events are queued until the next billing cycle or until you expand the tier. No surprise automatic charges.
Can I change plans later?
Yes. Move up and access expands immediately. Move down and the change takes effect at the start of your next term. All Compliance tiers bill annually. Charter pricing locks for the life of your subscription.
What about EU customers and EU AI Act?
EU data residency in Frankfurt and Dublin is planned for the Enterprise Insurer tier in Phase 3 of the geographic expansion (2028 to 2030). EU AI Act Article 12 mapping is included in every Compliance tier today for the 2 December 2027 enforcement date. The US insurance vertical is the lead through 2028.
Do you sign BAAs?
Yes. The AWS S3 BAA is in place. We sign customer-side BAAs at the Enterprise Insurer tier and at any tier where PHI processing is in scope. HIPAA §164.312(b) audit-controls evidence is part of every Compliance tier.
