Cookie Policy

Last updated: March 2026

We keep our cookie use minimal. This page explains exactly what is set, why, and how to remove it.

1. What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser. When you visit the site again, the browser sends that file back so the site can recognize you. Cookies are widely used to keep you logged in, remember settings, and collect analytics.

2. Strictly necessary cookies

These cookies are required for the platform to work. You cannot opt out of them while using Invistiq.

CookiePurposeDuration
sb-[project]-auth-tokenSupabase authentication session. Keeps you logged in between page loads.Session (up to 30 min inactivity)
__Host-next-auth.csrf-tokenCSRF protection. Prevents cross-site request forgery attacks on form submissions.Session

3. Functional cookies

These cookies remember small preferences so you do not have to reset them every time you visit. They are not required, but disabling them means the platform will not remember your settings.

CookiePurposeDuration
invistiq-sidebarRemembers whether your sidebar is expanded or collapsed.1 year
invistiq-themeStores your display preference if a theme option is added in the future.1 year

4. Analytics

We use Vercel Analytics to understand aggregate traffic patterns (page views, load times, geographic distribution). Vercel Analytics does not use cookies and does not track individual users across sessions or sites. It counts visits, not people. No personally identifiable information is collected.

We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any other third-party analytics tool that sets cookies or tracks you across the web.

5. What we don't use

  • No marketing or retargeting cookies
  • No ad network cookies (Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • No cross-site behavioral tracking
  • No social media tracking pixels
  • No third-party cookies from advertising vendors

6. How to manage cookies

You can clear or block cookies at any time through your browser settings. Note that clearing the authentication cookie will log you out of Invistiq.
